With technology becoming societally ubiquitous and kids learning how to unlock iPhones before they take their first steps, its easy to believe that classic childhood games get lost in the shuffle. I dont see many marathon rounds of Duck, Duck, Goose or Red Rover being played in the park by my house. Appearances lead one to believe that tiny tots have replaced those physical games with their favorite apps on their parents (or their own) smartphone.

One family beautifully blends a classic childhood game with a bit of modern technology.

In a video posted to YouTube by user Dan Iverson, a toddler smartly equipped with a GoPro goes looking for mom and dad. You can see the little ones brain scanning the scene while entering and exiting every room. The parents may have gotten some extra quiet time had it not been for the dog Ollie feeling suspicious about the bedroom closet.

The short video is fun and is a great reminder of the importance of play. In fact, I suggest we all play a rousing round of childhood games at the office today. First up: Mother, May I?
