ATLANTA - The hot weather that's moved into Georgia is expected to continue for the next few days, and the National Weather Service says it may get even warmer.

The weather service predicts high temperatures ranging from the 90s to about 100 for most of the state with some chance of showers or thundershowers Monday, with not much change on Tuesday. Some areas in the mountains should be a few degrees cooler.

On Sunday, Atlanta's high was 93 degrees, but it reached 98 in Macon and Savannah, 97 in Columbus and 101 in Augusta.

Little relief is forecast through the weekend.
