Want to give a member of Congress a piece of your mind, or maybe a pat on the back for a job well done?
Well, area residents will have a chance to share their views on what’s happening in Washington, D.C., during a town hall meeting with Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga., at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bryan County High School in Pembroke.
“If there’s anything I learned in Washington, it’s that the city doesn’t have the franchise on good ideas,” said Kingston. “That’s why I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and hope everyone brings their best ideas to the issues we face. From jump-starting the economy and creating jobs to health care, spending and harbor deepening, we’ve got a lot on our plate as a state and a country.
“I encourage everyone to attend.”
