SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A Savannah teenager has been booked on multiple arson charges for setting fire to five houses in the same neighborhood.
Savannah Metro police and fire investigators said Tuesday the charges stem from a series of arson fires on North Fernwood Avenue between Feb. 4 and Feb. 6.
Arrested was a 16-year-old male, whose name was withheld due to his age. Authorities said he could be charged as an adult. The boy was charged with five counts of arson.
No one was injured in the blazes, but firefighters said one house was set on fire twice in the same day.
No motive was given.
