Suspect arrested after fleeing from police on I-95
arrest record

A suspect identified as Ronnie Littleton Jr., 30 from Bloomingdale was arrested Friday morning after leading a deputy on a chase on Interstate 95 in Liberty County according to Liberty County Sheriffs Office Chief Deputy, Jon Long.

The incident began around 8:30 am at exit 76, I-95.  Littleton was attempting to merge onto the interstate when a Liberty County deputy initiated a traffic stop for failure to maintain his lane.  Littleton allegedly stopped on the interstate and exited the vehicle, running across the six lanes of traffic with the deputy in pursuit.  He was eventually captured in the wood line and a search of his vehicle yielded a Keltec 9mm  sub compact rifle, methamphetamine and drug related items.

Littleton was arrested and charged with possessing the weapon as a convicted felon, failure to maintain lane, reckless conduct and obstruction of a police officer.

A woman was a passenger in the vehicle and has been arrested, charges are pending.
