According to Liberty County Elections Supervisor Ella Golden, Liberty County plans to certify their election results on or by Friday, Nov. 9.

The preliminary numbers show that 75.34 percent of voters cast their ballots for the Midway Packages Sales referendum, that would allow alcohol sales on Sunday in Midway, with 24.66 percent against the referendum.

When asked, Golden said the possibility of a run-off for governor is unknown right now, with ballots from DeKalb County still be counted and reported to the Secretary of State's office, according to the website. If there is a run-off, statewide voting will be Dec. 4.
