With Election Day less than a week away, Walthourville Mayor Henry Frasier spent part of his day Tuesday working with residents and supporters to repair one of his signs that was torn down and cut into pieces.
A torn sign was the least of Frasier’s worries, however, as the election in Walthourville has taken a turn for the worse.
Days prior to the sign being shredded, the mayor and city council member Luciria Lovette found the tires on their cars slit or flattened.
Frasier, without implicating possible culprits, said it was sad the election has led to people using such tactics against him and current council members.
