Walthourville’s Police Department Hosts ‘Grinchmas Movie Night’

Walthourville’s Police Department will host a free community movie night at the Walthourville Fire Department on December 16, from 6-9 p.m., located at 222 Busbee Road, Allenhurst, in the fire dept truck bays. The movies that will be shown are “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” the animated version as well as the action version starring Jim Carrey.

Admission is free for all. This is a great way to embrace the holiday season with the family. It will be held at Walthourville Fire Department. Its officers love being a part of these events. They are fun and they bring some relief to many people. Follow the event details on Walthourville Police Facebook page.

Hot chocolate and popcorn will be served. There will be snow falling for the children and Santa will be stopping by to take photos with everyone.

“Walthourville Police Department is always trying to find ways to bridge the gap between law enforcement, family and community,” said Interim Chief Chris Reed.
