Fort Stewart officials have released the identity of a woman found dead in her on-post home Tuesday night. The Army is treating the death of Andrea Boykin as a homicide,

Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield and the 3rd Infantry Division express sincere condolences to the family of Andrea Boykins who was found dead in her on-post home Tuesday night.   Her husband, a 1st Armored Brigade, 3rd ID Soldier, has returned from deployment to South Korea, and is being assisted by his chain of command.

The incident is under investigation by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command.  Due to the ongoing investigation, further information will be released at the appropriate time.
