 It is almost time for the Liberty NAACP branch election. All members in good standing are eligible to run for election in November 2018.

A nominating committee will be elected for the 2018 Liberty County NAACP Election during the general membership meeting on, Monday, Sept. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Dorchester Academy in Midway.

Civic engagement means working to make a difference in the civic life of our communities by leveraging and developing a combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make that difference. It means promoting the quality of life in a community, through political and non-political processes.  It means, you make the difference. Are you engaged?
