Letter to the editor: Garbage in neighbor’s yard poses a health risk
Letter to the Editor generic

Dear Editor:

Just the other day from (my) house, I noticed in the yard across the street two trash/garbage and diaper items (yeah, it’s a Sharon Street rental property, well by and large look at the rental properties and the homeowner properties and you’ll know the difference).

But getting back to the gist of this letter, there are young children of different races/genders playing and walking right around this filth. These children could get a disease/COVID. I even asked several of the neighborhood adults about this and they simply shrugged their shoulders and walked away.

Well, as we say in the Army, MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! I contacted Hinesville ESG on December 14 on this filth, picking it up and coming home on the afternoon of December 15, the garbage was gone. The local Georgia Army National Guard has as its motto Consider it Done! A big thanks to ESG, and to whoever threw the nasty baby diaper/trash in the rental yard, that’s nasty, and to the parents that allow their children to play among the filth — well, if you can’t say something good, don’t say it at all!!
