Dear editor:

Thank you to Mrs. Patricia Fleming of the Kingdom Church of Christ, for a successful free Christmas dinner giveaway to the citizens of Riceboro. A total of 85 dinners was given to walk-ins, and delivered to the elderly sick and shut-ins. Thanks also for your socks drive, donated to The Woodland Health residents on Dec. 15, 2018. The youth department sang Christmas carols, which brought joy to many hearts.

On Dec. 20, 2018, Riceboro Reach/Manor House sponsored a bagged food giveaway at the Riceboro Youth Center. One-hundred and fifty bags were given, which served 375 household members.

Thanks to SNF employees for your generous donations of bags and boxes of canned goods, cereals and many other items. Thanks to all others, businesses and individuals, for your anonymous donations.

Thanks also to the volunteers, Patricia Fleming, Laura Campbell, Ralph and Jerrod Ward, Minister James Williams, Tommy Williams III, Linda G. Fabian, Diana J. Gillespie, and Annie M. Ash.
