Editor, On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations and thanks to Hinesville attorney Billy Jones on earning the 2011 Good Scout Award from the Liberty District of Boy Scouts of America.
In addition to his exemplary contributions to the Boy Scouts’ mission of service to our youth, Mr. Jones serves the community in many other capacities and is a leader in the legal profession as well, having served as president of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
All Georgia lawyers can be inspired by our colleague’s commitment and efforts toward serving others, which in turn serves to promote the cause of justice and uphold the integrity of the legal profession in our state.
