Dear Community Members,

As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to thank the community for their outpouring of support. This is a new and unknown challenge but, because of your efforts, we are making our community safer and healthier.

All of your kind efforts have made a difference, and none have gone unnoticed. From the contribution of masks from Caesarstone, SNF Chemtall, Kadee’s Korner, Parker’s, GHC and many individuals, to the thermometers made possible by way of community sponsorships through the Chamber of Commerce, and from additional PPE from Savannah Technical College, Harbor Freight Hinesville, Second Life Medical, Liberty College & Career Academy and The Sikes Group, to meals provided by Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Barbaritos, VFW Post 6602, Zoner’s Pizza, Do Right Seafood & BBQ, the Chamber of Commerce and Feed the Frontlines Georgia, we have been overwhelmed with the generosity and thoughtfulness of the entire community.

There are simply too many contributors to list individually at this time, but there are others who are just as important who gave handmade masks, meals, cases of water, baskets of goodies, entertainment for our residents, baked goods, and services provided by your businesses.

On behalf of the team members and medical staff at Liberty Regional Medical Center, please accept our heartfelt THANK YOU!

It has meant the world to us through these challenging days. I am so proud of our TEAM and their personal, sacrificial willingness to rise to the occasion and work tirelessly to care for our patients. We are pleased to be able to report, at this time, none of our team members have tested positive for COVID-19, nor any of our nursing home residents.

We still have a way to go in this fight, but I am confident that, together, we will get through this. We are here for you and thank you for being here for us too.

Stay well,

Tammy Mims
