Thanks to HPD officer who changed tire

Editor, I would like to commend and thank female Hinesville Police Officer Paulsen, who helped me at 2 a.m. Saturday, March 26, when one of my tires unexpectedly ruptured on Highway 84. Since I do not know (yet) how to change a tire, nor did anyone else I called for help, she took it upon herself after the incident had occurred and she saw me stranded, to change the damaged tire to a spare one.
In addition, she used her own change in order to make sure that the spare was properly inflated and I was safe to drive home. During the entire process, she maintained a friendly and compassionate attitude. Her actions saved me from numerous additional inconveniences that would have entailed calling a tow truck at that hour, finding a way to get home and, of course, getting back to my car the next morning to have a new tire mounted.
I cannot thank this professional enough and hope that the Hinesville Police Department recognizes what an excellent officer it employs.
