Accolades piling up for soccer player

Just days after being named to the Appalachian Athletics Conference All-Academic Team, former First Presbyterian Christian Academy soccer player Clark Sukaratana received another recognition.

The current Point University midfielder was named to the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete team by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Sukaratana was one of 423 men’s soccer player on the list.
According to Point University’s website, a student athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and must be a junior or senior.

Sukaratana is a junior at Point.
He’s played in 42 matches his first three seasons and this year started in all 19 games.
