Scott’s All*Stars 16U team won the Georgia Cup in Suwannee April 1-2, according to coach Marcus Scott IV. The boys then took first in the 16U bracket at the Battle of the Beach Tournament last weekend in Hinesville.

At the Georgia Cup, Scott said the All*Stars went 5-0.
“It’s great to win at such an early point in the season,” the coach said about the Georgia Cup. “This was only our second tournament this year.”
Marcus Scott and Daqaun Humphreys were named to the all-tournament team.

“It was great for them to be recognized for having a great showing at the tournament,” the coach said.
At the Battle of the Beach Scott said they went 3-1, finishing first in the 16U bracket and third in the 17U bracket.
“Considering we were missing several starters, I felt we played pretty well,” Scott said.

The All*Stars are in Atlanta this weekend and next for the National Sweet Sixteen tournament.
