The only football team in the Hinesville-Ludowici area would be the Long County Blue Tide.

The Liberty County Panthers and Bradwell Institute Tigers are still inactive after the Liberty County School System is doing virtual learning and pausing sports.

The Panthers and the Tigers are planning on returning to the field on Sept. 17.

The Blue Tide visited Charlton County in Folkston but could not continue their winning ways after defeating Bacon County 44-29 to snap their 18-game losing streak.

They would be shutout 40-0 by the Indians, who scored all their points over the span of three quarters.

The Blue Tide only mustered 23 total yards in the game while giving 325 according to MaxPreps.

Now, they sit on a 1-2 record heading into Week 4.
