Bradwell Institute’s baseball season is off to a 1-3 start. The team started their season on Feb. 16, playing cross-town rival Liberty County High School. The Tiger boys managed to hold a one-run lead to win 12-11. The next day the Tigers lost to Bryan County 10-9. On Feb. 19, the Tigers avoided being shut out but fell to LaFayette High 16-1. This past Saturday the boys fell to Camden County 19-1. The Tigers were scheduled to host Bryan County Monday and will host Savannah Country Day School Thursday at 6 p.m. and host Rome High School Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Liberty County High School is 0-1 after their loss to the Tigers. They were scheduled to host Bryan County High School yesterday and will host Portal at home at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
On the soccer field the boys’ game between the Panthers and Tigers, scheduled for Feb. 19, was postponed. The Tiger boys did play against Glynn Academy on Feb. 16 falling 6-1. The Tigers boys were set to play at Richmond Hill high School yesterday and will travel to Brunswick Friday for a game at 7 p.m. The Tiger boys are 2-1-1 overall and 0-1 in region 2(6A). The Lady Tigers also fell to Glyn Academy by a score of 8-0. They were scheduled to play the Lady Wildcats yesterday and will play at the Lady Pirates’ field Friday at 5 p.m. They are also 2-1-1 overall and 0-1 in the region.
