Bradwell Institute hosted the fourth annual Readie Kelly Invitational over the weekend, featuring track and field members from Bradwell, Richmond Hill, Glynn Academy, South Effingham, St. Vincent’s Academy, Groves and Calvary Day School.

BI’s girls track and field team placed in the top three in 13 of the 16 events, and finished first in seven events. In the hurdles, Imani Davenport finished first in the 100 meter and third in the 300 meter. In the sprints, Jayda Daniels took first in the 100 meter dash and second in the 200 meter dash, behind Elizabeth Santiago, who took first in the 200 meter and won the 400 meter dash.

In distance, Kailey Brough took first place in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs. Both 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams placed second in both races.

In field events, Lanice Moore took third in the shot put, Enfinity Marshall placed third in the triple jump, Tamia Clark finished third in the high jump and Esperanza Castro placed second in the triple jump, as well as first in the long jump.

For the boys, the Tigers placed in the top three in 15 of the 16 events, winning five events that afternoon. Terrius Crimiel took first in the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles while placing second in the triple jump. Donald McClinton took first in the long jump and placed second the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes. Christian Evans finished second behind Crimiel in the 110 meter hurdles.

Dominic McClinton took the high jump and triple jump, finishing first in both, and third in the 400 meter dash.

BI’s Issac Coleman and Josh Ingram each took third in two separate contests, Coleman in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs and Ingram in the shot put and discus throw. In the relays, the Tigers 4x100 meter team took second, while the 4x400 meter and 4x800 meter teams finished third.

Bradwell heads to Waycross this weekend for their next meet before hosting their next home meet on March 18.
