During Long County’s final home baseball game last Tuesday, Blue Tide seniors and their parents were recognized. This year, the team had six seniors and each contributed to the winning season.
Trent Wells was honored for playing for the Tide baseball team for all four years of his high school career. Richard "Rat" Johnson also was recognized for playing baseball for four years. Jake Durham and Bryan Wingate were recognized for their four years on the team and David Shuman was honored for his three years. Tommy Freeman was honored for his two years on the squad.
