Liberty County’s Lady Panther edged out Tattnall County High School, 44-41, Friday in a non-region game.
Lady Panther Tia Fleming burned the scoreboard, notching in 20 points. She nabbed 11 rebounds and was 2-of-5 at the free throw line. Senior Lady Panthers Jaelyn James and Dayza Ingram chipped in 7 and 6 points, respectively.
The Liberty girls are 1-2.
In the boys’ game, the Liberty boys throttled the Warriors 72-48. Fresh off the football field, Richard LeCounte dropped in 17 points. Devion Mitchell chipped in 15, Tyriq Reece added 9 and Milik Wallace scored 8. The boys are 2-1 overall.
Liberty was set to host Bradwell Saturday and will travel to Richmond Hill Dec. 2.
