GREENVILLE, S.C. — Hinesville native and Paine College women’s basketball standout Jada Brooks earned All-American honors for her play on the basketball court during the 2021–22 season. Brooks was named to the National Christian College Athletic Association All-American Second Team.
During the season, the former Bradwell Institute star averaged 17.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game while helping Paine, which is located in Augusta, to a 9-9 overall record.
Brooks’ best game of the season came in a 94-43 win over South Carolina Faith A& M College on Jan. 8, 2022. In that contest, she had 37 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She made 14 field goals and hit four of her six 3-point attempts.
