The Bradwell Tigers ended their 2016 campaign on Friday when they fell to the Tucker Tigers in the first round of the 6(A) state playoffs. The Tigers put up a valiant effort, but ultimately fell to their opponents, 48-15.

With this loss, Bradwell finishes the season 3-7-1 in a season that saw them advance to the postseason for the first time in seven seasons. The Tigers from Hinesville seemed to be no match for Tucker as the No. 2 team in the state jumped out to a 28-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Tucker never looked back as they rolled to a big win over Bradwell and sent them packing.

The season for Bradwell was a historic one as they pulled off a big upset over Brunswick earlier in the year to secure a playoff berth. They now look to move forward with coach Greg Hill, who just completed his third season with the Tigers and will look to build off this season going forward.
