An 18-2 run in the third quarter propelled the Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers to a 51-26 win over Coffee in a Region 1-AAAAA basketball game.
Taniyah Bowman had a game-high 21 points for the Lady Tigers, going 4-of-7 from 3-point range. Bailey Gilmore posted a double-double with 13 points and 11rebounds, and Parris Parham added 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists and six steals.
With the win, Bradwell improved to 14-2 overall and 4-0 in the region.
Elyjah Thurmon scored 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a 49-36 win over the Trojans boys.
Tahshuan Frazier registered 10 points and five steals in the win.
Bradwell held Coffee to 1-of-14 on 3-point shooting. Trent Wilson topped the Trojans, who were just 16-of-54 from the field, with nine points.
Bradwell improved to 10-5 on the season and 3-1 in the region.
Bradwell travels to Statesboro on Tuesday and Greenbrier on Saturday for a pair of region doubleheaders.
