The Bradwell Tigers traveled to McIntosh Academy to take on the Buccaneers in a non-region game Monday afternoon.
The weather held off, giving the teams an opportunity to get their hits. But in the end the Buccaneers made the Tigers walk the plank with a 3-6 win.
The loss did not affect the Tigers stance in 3-AAAAA where they are currently 4-4. They were scheduled to play Windsor Forest at home Tuesday afternoon in a regional game.
The Tigers must win as many of the next four region games to battle for the spot they currently share with Groves and get into the playoffs.
Results from the regional match with Windsor and details of the upcoming regional game against Beach will be in Friday’s Coastal Courier.
