Dougherty came into Liberty County's gym and squeezed in a trey shot at the buzzer to win the game by one ending the Panthers quest for a class AAA state title.

Panther Jordan McRae scored a tournament high 37 points and Rion Brown, who played while being under the weather, scored 12.

The Trojans  controlled the boards and the Panthers missed a few critical free-throws that proved costly in the end.

In the meantime coach Faye Baker and the Lady Tigers will tipoff Wednesday night at 6 p.m. as they host Riverdale in the Sweet 16.
