Chapman brings home three medals

Camille Jackson, Quintunya Chapman, Shonteria Williams, KeAndre Ladson, Kissimmee Herring, Kwajelin Holsendolph and Sherina Hornsby made the voyage to Albany last weekend for the girls state track meet. The athletes represented the Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers in Class AAAAA.

Each runner performed well and Chapman brought home three medals. She added one second-place and two fifth-place pieces of jewelry to her impressive collection. Chapman was a mere 6 inches behind the first-place winner in the long jump, clearing an impressive 18’4".

Her other two medals came in the 200- and 400-meter dashes.

Chapman posted a time of 25.02 seconds in the 200 and 56.350 in the 400.

Overall, the Hinesville girls finished 13th in their classification.
