FPCA improves to 13-1

Add two more games to the First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys basketball win column as the Highlanders defeated Mount Vernon 59-36 on Tuesday and took down New Birth Christian 73-68 on Wednesday.

According to the Georgia Independent School Association’s athletic website, Mount Vernon had a perfect 12-0 record in 1-AAA until their loss to the Highlanders.

The victory against New Birth was the third time the Highlanders beat the Eagles this season.

This week the FPCA boys will be at a tournament at Bishop Moore in Orlando, Fla.
