The First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlanders were in Macon Friday, taking on Windsor Academy in the first round of the Georgia Independent School Association Class AA playoffs.

The Knights showed why they were the higher seed, winning 58-22.

Windsor Academy took a 58-8 lead going into halftime. In the second half, the Highlanders kept pounded and kept Windsor out of the end zone.

In the fourth quarter, FPCA’s offense started gaining ground. Despite a short clock the, Highlanders added two touchdowns and converted twice for two points.

But Windsor held out to win 58-22.

This was the second year in a row the FPCA boys made it to the first round of the playoffs. Both times, however, FPCA has been eliminated.
