First Presbyterian Christian Academy will host the Briarwood Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Long Bell Stadium in Hinesville.

The Bucs are coming off a 16-6 win against Burke Academy last week. The Highlanders are looking to rebound after suffering a 37-0 loss to Bulloch Academy last Friday at home.

Briarwood’s offense rushed for 238 yards and two touchdowns and completed 3 of 7 passes for 65 yards.

Highlander quarterback Dylan Stewart had 11 carries for 32 yards and completed 2 of 10 passes for 84 yards last week. Josh Armour had two receptions for 84 yards, while Jimmy Ouyang and Sensier Carnes had significant gains for the offense.

Briarwood handed FPCA a 52-20 loss last year. However, FPCA produced two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and held the Bucs out of the end zone throughout the third quarter.
