The Highlanders took the bite out of the Jaguars on Friday at their last home game of the regular season.
The game opened with FPCA shooting a three pointer. The team never looked back as they maintained the lead throughout all four periods. With 1:42 left in the first period, the Highlanders already had a ten-point lead (19-9), and by the end of the third period the Highlanders had a 59-37 lead with a Jordan-like slam dunk by Joey Bell (no. 22). Bell kept hitting the three-point, shots helping the Highlanders stay ahead of their opponents.
Coach Darrell West and assistant coach David Linderman worked hard all season and developed an impressive team if you consider that the highest-grade level at FPCA is the tenth grade. From the Highlanders Terrence T.A. Alston and Bell made the all region team.
