Free camp, Walthour tribute next Saturday

There will be a special ceremony paying tribute to Rebels founder Ernie Walthour, who was killed in July 2013. After the ceremony, the All-Stars will take the court and play.

St. James Coastal Crew Rebels youth coach Darryl McCray recently announced there will be a free basketball camp from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the St. James Sports Center, 1140 Holmestown Road in Midway.
At 2 p.m., there will be a special ceremony paying tribute to Rebels’ founder Ernie Walthour, who was killed in July 2013. After the ceremony, the All-Stars will take the court and play.
McCray said the camp is open to boys and girls ages 7-12. The skills camp will cover passing, dribbling, defensive moves and free throws. Sign-in starts at
