The Long County Diamond Club had its fifth annual golf tournament Saturday at Pine Forest Country Club in Jesup.
The tourney helps raise money for the Long County High School baseball program.
This year, the winning team consisted of Chris Hobbs, Ben East, Rob East and new Blue Tide head baseball coach James Hobbs. Second place went to the team of Tim Blanton, Tracy Howard, Carl Freeman and John Smiley. Rounding out the top three was the team of Robbie Skipper, David Ronn, Mark Hewitt and Jay Harwell.
Taking home the prize for the shot closest to the pin was David Stapleton. The longest drive award went to Andy Pusser. And the 50/50 raffle winner was Tyler Deen.
“Thank you to all who participated and sponsored a hole in the tournament, with a special thank you to Pine Forest County Club for hosting the tournament and Marty and Casey Adams for catering the meal. The day was a huge success,” Diamond Club president Randy Williams said.
