After five years as an assistant coach and skills trainer for both men and women’s basketball and one year as the interim head women’s basketball coach, Warren Goosby, a Bradwell Institute alumnus, was named the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at East Georgia State College, according to the EGSC website. Goosby served five years as an assistant coach and skills trainer for men and women’s basketball, according to www.ega.edu.

He began coaching at the high school level 17 years ago, and has taught high school English. Goosby also played semi-professional and professional basketball prior to becoming an educator, according to the college website. He volunteered with EGSC men’s basketball and worked at Georgia Southern and Savannah State universities, according to ega.edu.
