The Greenbrier Wolfpack ended Bradwell Institute’s winning streak with a 13-3 decision Tuesday in Evans.
The Tigers had won three straight after sweeping a series with Jenkins, winning 12-5, 12-2 and 15-0.
Bradwell trailed 4-0 in the opener before tying the game in the top of the third inning. The Tigers plated four more runs in the fifth to open a 9-4 advantage.
Shedrick Pass struck out seven in 3 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, and Felix Garcia fanned four in two innings to close out the win.
The Tigers posted six runs in the first in the 12-2 win and poured across nine runs in the finale’s first inning.
Garcia was 5-for-10 in the series with a double and four RBIs. Dustin Snelson drove in five runs, going 5-for-9 with two doubles, and Nigel Green had four RBIs, going 3-for-11. Terrence Johnson was 4-for-8 with six RBIs, Damorion Morris was 2-for-9 with three RBIs, Pass was 4-for-8 with a triple and Jeff Kissinger went 2-for-6 in the series.
Bradwell concludes its three-game set with Greenbrier with a doubleheader Friday at the No.2-ranked Wolfpack.
Bradwell travels to Statesboro on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. game and hosts the Blue Devils on March 30 at 6 p.m. The three-game series concludes March 31 at Statesboro.
