The Liberty County Panthers and Bradwell Tigers finished their regular golf season in a match against McIntosh Academy.
While the Tigers finished their last regular match two weeks ago tied in second place with Liberty, it was the Panthers’ record that sent them to the regional golf tournament last Monday and Tuesday.

The Lady Panther squad finished regional in sixth place with Cassie Standard hitting a 94, Roe 118 and Desiree Garcia a 121.
The Men Panthers ended regionals seeded 11th out of 12 teams. Standard said the bright spot for the Panther squad was Floyd with a 73. However, it was John Keller of Burke County who was the low medallist with a 72.
Rounding out the Panther squad Zachary Johnston shot 126, Cesar Rodriguez 116, Nick Heightman 128 and Joe Owens 110.
The coaches and staff of Bradwell High and Liberty County send thanks to Taylor Creek and Cherokee Rose Golf Courses for allowing the High schools to play and practice at their courses this season.
