The First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlanders continue to promote the private school’s athletic programs and add medals for students.
The young baseball team starts post-season playoffs in Lyons today.
Wednesday, the track team, coached by Willie Daniels, traveled to Lyons County where Robert Toombs Academy hosted a region 2-A track meet.
Lady Highlander Assyria Daniels came home crowned as the Region 2-A champion in the long jump with a jump of 13’7”. She is also region champion in the shot put and runner-up in the 200-meter dash. Davis Broadwater is the Region champion in the discus with an 81’4” throw.
