Highlanders dominate at region XC meet
FPCA cross Country
The First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys’ cross country team won the Region 2-AA title recently and is competing in the Georgia Independent Schools Association state meet this weekend in Albany.

The First Presbyterian Christian Academy varsity boys’ Cross-Country team won the Region 2AA Championship Oct. 22, In Cochran, Ga. 

Runner Krish Patel was the overall region champion. He was also named All-Region runner. DJ Christensen was runner up and made All-Region. Ethan Huey made the All-Region team and was third overall.

Timothy Christensen and Javohn Jackson also made the All-Region team. Other FPCA runners include Alfred Martin, Caleb Harmon, James Osteen and Cameron Eason.

Coach Shane Smith was selected as Coach of the Year.

Smith said Lady Lander Alicia Jones was named to the All-Region team.

The boys’ will compete at the state tournament this weekend at Albany State.
