First Presbyterian Christian Academy varsity boys played Frederica on Jan. 25, at Frederica Christian Academy.
FPCA came out victorious with a score of 66-53. The high scorer of the game was Michael Brown with 21 points, followed by Joey Bell with 19 points.
At Frederica Highlander freshman Michael Brown hit seven of eight three-pointers.
“He was hot,” said coach Darrell West. “Our point guard Terrence Alston II kept feeding the ball to Michael and he kept on responding with three pointers.”
“All of Brown’s points came from the point line,” said coach David Linderman. “Our team is coming together nicely and we are proud of them.”
Other Highlander scores came from Alston with 13 points, Hakeem Golden with 4, Joshua Rodgers with 4, and Sunny Patel with 1.
First Presbyterian will play their last regular season game at home on Friday at the St. James Sports Center.

On Jan. 29, the junior varsity boys fell short against Trinity.
The high scorer for the game was Kyle Weinerth with 16 points, followed by William Haas with 6. Weinerth was hot outside the three-point line. Nine of his 16 points came from the three-point area.
“Kyle has been consist with his three point shooting,” coach Linderman said. “He keeps us in the game.”
Other Highlander scores came from Martin Manser with 3 points, Griffin Larkin with 3, and Joey Armeni and Jose Martinez with 2 each.
