First Presbyterian Christian Academy beat Citizens Christian Academy 10-6 in Douglas Tuesday. Highlander coach Ryan Harmon said Kyle Hill pitched the win, picking up his third of the season

Leading the FPCA boys at bat were James Arnold and Luis Laboy. Thursday night, the Highlanders got the chance to play in Savannah’s Grayson Stadium, going up against Coastal Home School. Harmon said the Highlanders clawed their way back from a 4-0 deficit to take the win in a game that went nine innings. FPCA won 6-5.

“It was a great game and great experience,” Harmon said, noting the final innings were filled with intense action. “We managed to take the lead in the top of the ninth and then held them in the bottom of the inning for the win.”
Harmon reports big hits from Hill, Laboy and K’Ane and Cameron Nunn.
Steven Young was the winning pitcher.

FPCA is 7-2 overall and 3-1 in Region 2-AA.
