All three Hinesville-Ludowici area teams will be in action this week.
The Liberty County Panthers will strap up their pads on Thursday night as they head to Savannah to take on Johnson in a Region 3-3A contest.
The Panthers returned to the field after three weeks due to a Liberty County School System shutdown and faced Statesboro last week, falling 23-6.
They have an 0-2 record so far this season and will look to pick up their first win of the season at Johnson.
The game will kick off at 7:30 at Garden City Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 23.
The Bradwell Institute Tigers are also back for their second game since the shutdown.
They are 0-2 and will go into Wildcat Stadium at Richmond Hill to attempt to spoil their homecoming in the Region 2-6A matchup.
The Tigers played Appling County last week, losing 39-6.
Their game at Richmond Hill will kick off at 7:30 on Friday, Sept. 24.
Long County will be celebrating their homecoming in Ludowici as they host Frederica Academy from Brunswick.
The Blue Tide are currently 2-3 on the season after coming off a road loss to Jeff Davis in Hazlehurst.
The game will kick off at 7:30 at Veterans Stadium on Friday.
