SAVANNAH -- The Savannah Tire Hockey Classic 2011 is set for Jan. 13-15 at the Savannah Civic Center. The classic is a collegiate tournament that now features six of the South's most exciting hockey programs: University of Georgia, University of Florida, Georgia Tech, Florida State, and newcomers University of South Carolina and The Citadel.
Promotions this year will feature Thirsty Thursday on Jan. 13 with $2 draft beer and Family Night on Jan. 14 with the first 1,000 kids receiving a free pack of hockey themed Sillybandz. Tickets are $10 for mezzanine and $15 for loge. Discounts are available for military, children (ages 2-11) and groups over 20 people.
