The Hinesville Hurricanes put a whooping on the Richmond Hill Tiger Sharks Saturday.

The ’Canes beat the Sharks 12-0 in the first game of the new regional United States Indoor Football area football league.

The second game in the double header was to be between the Coastal Outlaws and Myrtle Beach Masters.

Games are to continue July 8 and 29, with the playoffs and championship games on Aug. 12 and 24, all in the Savannah Civic Center.
