Hush Paddles ‘a big win’ for Girls on the Run
Hush Paddles

Last week local business systems company ABR and the PGA TOUR presented a check to the Savannah chapter of Girls on the Run for $510.87.

The proceeds were from a fundraiser conducted during the PGA TOUR’s Savannah Golf Championship at The Landings Club. During the tournament, ABR sponsored the Hush Paddles which were available for sale, with proceeds going to Girls on the Run.

Pictured are ABR’s Kathryn Murph, presenting the check to Girls on the Run Director Maria Center. Cheyenne Overby, the Tournament Director for the Savannah Golf Championship, and ABR’s Laura Morris are also shown with Murph and Center.

“We have always been proud to be a part of this community,” said ABR President Kathryn Murph. “This partnership was the perfect opportunity for us to do something good for a great organization, while having a little fun. Last year, everyone was talking about the hush paddles and asking if they could have one, we saw this as a perfect win.”

ABR is the largest, locally owned, provider of office systems in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. In business for more than 30 years, ABR supplies customers with a variety of products from Kyocera, Konica Minolta, Savin and more. ABR prides itself on providing outstanding customer satisfaction through unprecedented service and technological excellence.

ABR has a long history of community sponsorships. This Girls on the Run fundraiser is one of many community related efforts ABR assists with.

In addition to frequent sponsorships for a multitude of community events, ABR was the first, and continues to be a sponsor of the Savannah Bananas.
