Two members of the Coastal Empire Lady Monarchs basketball team have been named to the Women’s American Basketball Association all-star team, for their play during the 2019 season.

For the second consecutive year, Makhala Jackson and TaQuandra Mike have been honored with a selection on the league’s all-star team.

Of the 16 league teams playing this season, 14 teams are represented on the all-star roster.

The Lady Monarchs (5-1) are currently on a five game winning streak, after a 84-74 road win over the Macon Blue Diamonds on September 21.

The Lady Monarchs, who play the Montgomery Lady Magic on the road on September 28, are averaging 84.8 points a game while giving up 66.5 points per contest.
