Lady Highlander soccer coach Tom Sukaratana and his young squad of kickers played their first scrimmage at James Brown Park Monday against First Presbyterian Day Academy of Macon.

Debbie Meadows, one of only two seniors on the squad, helped the goalie throughout much of the first half, but the Lady Vikings kicked in three to close the half 3-0 over the Lady Highlanders.

In the second half the Lady Vikings added another three goals to win 0-6.

The Lady Highlanders head to Macon for the weekend to play in the First Presbyterian Day Academy Vikings Tournament to kick off the regular season.
