The Lady Panther cross country team qualified for the state meet later this week in Carrollton by taking second place at the Region 3-AAA meet on Thursday. According to Panther coach Jarvis McArthur, the team was led by Samantha Gonzales, who finished second overall. Michelle Adams and Tiffany Marquez finished seventh and eighth, respectively. Alicia Torres, Delyna Hoang and Morgan Gatch rounded out the scoring.
