Long County’s Lady Tide honored senior players Oct. 4 during the softball team’s last game of the season.
Coach Brian Thomas praised their them.
“I am very proud of our seniors, Ravae Rose and Tityanna Wilson,” the coach said. “Without their leadership, this season could have been very tough, but because they kept the team believing and working hard, we had a chance in the last game of the season to make the state playoffs.”
Unfortunately, Long lost 12-0 at Brantley County.
Long County was scheduled to play Islands High Thursday in a non-region contest, but bad weather canceled the game.
