Though the Lady Tide lost a heartbreaker to the Liberty County Lady Panthers on Wednesday, the team celebrated a happy moment when the athletes honored the graduating seniors.

The Long County High School seniors Shelby Mock (first base), Kimber Sapp (catcher), Kelby Manning (shortstop) and Kayla Mills (pitcher) were recognized.

"These four girls are going to be hard to replace next year. You figure we’re losing starters at four key positions," LCHS Athletic Director Karen Swindell said. "But besides losing good players, we’re losing a great group of girls. They are good girls on and off the field, all quality ladies."
